About Lunacliptica
Precise, beautiful objects for living in relation to celestial cycles.
Lunacliptica is an Amsterdam-based studio creating objects that bring the movements of Moon, Earth, and Sun into everyday life.
I’m Gina, its founder. I am an engineer who designs and builds objects that make the cycles of the cosmos more legible. I find awe through ritual, careful attention to the sky, and knowing that people have watched these same cycles for thousands of years. Wonder inspires the engineering, and the engineering deepens the wonder.
Lunacliptica grew from my own practice. I began by making the objects I wanted to live with: things I could consult, handle, and return to as part of the rhythm of my days. I wanted celestial cycles to be more than information. I wanted to feel them: to know where I was in the lunation, the season, and the larger movements of Earth and sky.
These objects help me feel more present: here and now, on this planet, within the scale of the cosmos and a long human history of looking upward. When I shared them, I discovered that others were looking for this kind of connection.
